2014

I'm looking forward to 2014. And I am looking foward to my new teacher and I am pretty sure she will be as cool as mrs sarjeant.

2013 Reflection

2013 reflection.  2013 was one of the best years of my life.  It was funny sad weired nervous and awesome.  Next year I hope to have lots of memories like 2013.  By that I Kind of mean camp.  I realy enjoyed having my friends around for a year and I want to know what it is like at intermediate.  I also want to know my decimal next year. But that's it.

Ooblick

Yesterday room13 made ooblick.  Ooblick is a guey substance that is kind of crost the a liquid and a solid.  Ooblick is realy fun to play with.  Well how would i know i did not play with it.  But is realy fun just looking at it when you look at someone playing with it then it looks DISCUISTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  Over all it is awesome.  So say no to eating ooblick and say yes to playing with ooblick.

Athletics day

On the 20 of november we had athletics.  It was awesome. But realy tyring. I came 1st in 100 metre sprint and 4th in 100 metre sprint and 2 in 60 metre sprints. My favourite was 100 metre sprints cause i came 1st. It was the best athletics day I have ever had.

The Hiwi Kiwi show

The Hiwi Kiwi show was amazingly funny!!!!!!!!. Minstrel was the amazing leader of the Hiwi The Kiwi Show. His wife Mrs Minstrel was funny. She was an interesting hula dancer too. I learnt that if you catch a fish, for example a snapper and it is not 27 centimetres long you must put it back so it can grow. If it is bigger put it back so it can have dinner, I mean produce eggs.

Making Green Fizz

Today Room 13 made a green fizzy drink.  Some was yum, some was yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put too much baking soda in it.

We used icing sugar, baking-soda, lemon-juice and food colouring in it.

Here is the photo.

 On Tuesday we made a red cabbage indicator.  It was an experiment that smelled like a goose going toilet after an elephant.  It was really smelly.  But, it was really interesting.  Every ingredient made it change colour.

In room 13 we did algebra shapes and patterns in different shapes and sizes.  Here is an example of mine.

America's Cup

AMERICA'S CUP CHALLENGE



America's Cup is a yacht race between two countries.  The huge boats are skippered by the different sailors from the different countries that are competing.

The boat from New Zealand is called Emirates.  The other boat in the finals is from America and it is called Oracle.

Dean Barker skippers our New Zealand boat.

Today another race was raced and America's Oracle won it.

This means that the score is eight all.
 
The New Zealand team were winning by eight  to two.

So that is a pity isn't it?

Jericho's speech

Today I done my speech.  I wasb realy nerveous.  My speech was about my cultural discovery.  Witch is realy funny because I can never write my own.  And I still did not write my own speech.  My mum helped me.  by me saying what to wright and my mum write it down But the good thing is I got it done and over with.

first day of milk

The miraka a.k.a milk was yummy.  The anticipation of the box of cold milk was making my mouth water.  The only other time this happens is when I am going to have pasta.  So, the fact that milk made my mouth water, is pretty rare. Although I loved it, I did not like waiting in line.  I am honoured to be a milk monitor for Room 3 and 13.  I get to stack the fridge, take the milk to the classes and take the folded cartons to the blue, Fonterra recycle bin.

TRASHION FASHION

This is my groups first attempt at our Trashion costume,

not our best costume, but we tried our best.

We had to make our trial out of paper, which was hard,

but we got it done.   It kind of looks like an elf to me.

As you can see it ripped, not my fault, it's paper so obviously

 it is easy to rip.



Waste to wow!

Waste to Wow is when you buddy up with junior class or any class.  Next you form a group and make a costume out of garbage and recycled materials.  Then you make it look amazing.  My group is Shaniya Hunter and Javahn.

The new I pad

Room13's  i pad is so awesome.  Its big lots of games and it is educational.  Also the  colour is white a soothing colour.  Any way It is awesome it blew my mind like living in a toy store.

ANZAC

Anzac day is a very special day to remember the brave soldiers that passed on.  In 1930 the world war 2 was won.  There were guns bursting there and bombs bursting there after a long gruelling time we emerged as the winners of world war 2.  Victory !  any way back to my point, most people including me remember soldiers by wearing poppies.  What I am trying to say is, Anzac is a very important day.

On tuesday afternoon room 12 androom 13 went bush walking it was igsustimg.  But fr a reward we swam in a creak.  It was like swimming in a liquid freezer.  But I got to have fun with all my friends.Did I mension all of the awesome trees we saw.  We saw a cody tree a rata tree a silver fern tree and a palm tree.  But the point is we had a lt of fun.

The worrior visit

The warriors visited vardon and it was so cool.I got all of them to sign my very own school hat.And they taught us some drills and some games.But the warriors had to leave.But we still had lots of  fun.
